Sickening long day
February 24th, 2006 by solelymineHey it’s Friday, the only day in the week that I always am looking forward to. But then again this Weekend took a longer time. I was in the office today from 7 in the morning to 8 at night. And the best thing is, I didn’t even mark a single piece of work though I was there for 13 hours. Sickening…. Tmr still have to go back there to mark. Even worse is that don’t know which dumb dumb step on some shitty things and came in to the office. Now the whole office stinks. I hope tmr the smell would have worn off.
Though it had been a long day… it was also a special day. The Jocie who sang the cockroach song came to visit us. But dunno what happen…. the Number 1 who was initally supposed to present the flowers decided not to and asked a small cutie pie to do it.
Why was I still in the office at such a late hour? Ask boss lah…. Boss treats the office like her home. She will always stay to lock the gates. But I really can’t understand this habit of hers. She looks so haggard than how she looks like in the morning. Wonder why she wouldn’t want to go home and rest instead?
Am today, I finally learned the feelings of having your work thrown back to you. My boss did that to me and my colleague today. Makes me feel very fedup. Imagine your staff working OT for u w/o OT pay, the least you could do is to show appreciation instead of throwing things back to them. I must try not to do that to the others around me.
